  • It's Carers Week. Our friends at Open Arm Carers were out and about raising awareness and chatting to people about the peer-to-peer support available to unpaid carers.

  • SS Variety Show is released, dedicated to unpaid carers.

  • DGS Digital Buddies continues successfully with 10 pupils supporting 10 older friends to become digitally confident. Siri is a big hit!

  • We are joined by James McKillop MBE to share his experiences of living with dementia. Watch the conversation here.

  • The Pennypit Computer Club have shared their digital stories to help encourage others to start their digital journey. Watch the video here.

  • People are wanting to get out and about more than ever! We held a gathering with Parvine from Aging Well to talk about Buddy Walks and offered support and training to organisations wanting to set up their own.

  • We had a conversation to look at how far we have come, we heard from various projects, and learnt about what next for Dementia Friendly East Lothian.
